In Performance Monitor, you select the default Server Manager Performance data collector set, and then click the Start button.&nbsp; You then experience the error message:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-3YIFTxA7ysg\/VGds4cVif1I\/AAAAAAAAC-8\/wK6zZxrpQ08\/s1600\/perfomon1.png\" style=\"margin-left: 1em;margin-right: 1em\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"When attempting to start the Data Collector Set the following system error occurred: The task is disabled.\" border=\"0\" height=\"228\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-3YIFTxA7ysg\/VGds4cVif1I\/AAAAAAAAC-8\/wK6zZxrpQ08\/s1600\/perfomon1.png\" title=\"When attempting to start the Data Collector Set the following system error occurred: The task is disabled.\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><strong>Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Launch Task Scheduler using an account having local Administrator permissions.<\/li>\n<li>In the left task pane, expand the tree like so: Task Scheduler Library &gt; Microsoft &gt; Windows &gt; PLA.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>PLA<\/strong> group.&nbsp; Note that the status of the Server Manager Performance Monitor is <strong>Disabled<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the right Results pane, right-click <strong>Server Manager Performance Monitor<\/strong>.&nbsp;
